Juan Pablo Montoya has captured his second career NASCAR Cup victory – and first since 2007 – today at the Watkins Glen International road course in New York.
Montoya, who snapped a 113-race winless streak, led a dominant 74 laps (out of 90) – although he had some tough competition from eventual third-place finisher Marcos Ambrose, who was neck-and-neck with Montoya for a large portion of the race.
Kurt Busch finished second, followed by Ambrose, AJ Allmendinger and Carl Edwards.
Jamie McMurray, Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch, Jeff Burton and Jeff Gordon rounded out the top 10.
