Falcons WR Michael Jenkins To Miss Preseason With Shoulder Injury

The Atlanta Falcons have announced that  wide receiver Michael Jenkins will be out 4-6 weeks after injuring his shoulder during a scrimmage on Friday.

"You’re always concerned anytime one of your players goes down with an injury," head coach Mike Smith said Sunday night. "One thing I am certain of is Michael will work very hard with our athletic performance staff and training staff to get on the field as soon as possible."

Jenkins had 50 receptions for 635 yards and a touchdown last season.
