Nets, Raptors To Play Back-To-Back Regular Season Games In London

New, comments

For the first time, an NBA regular-season game will be played in Europe. The league just announced that the New Jersey Nets and Toronto Raptors will play back-to-back games at London's O2 Arena on March 4 and 5, 2011.

The league has played regular-season games in Japan, Mexico and Canada, but this is the first time they will have gone to Europe. Commissioner David Stern had previously promised that a regular-season game would be played in London before the 2012 Olympics, and he has now fulfilled that promise.
