↵Of course, the key part of the Raiders retaliation is that "once again" part, implying that Schefter is constantly spreading falsehoods about the team. The Raiders did at one point lash out at Schefter when he had reported that the team was ready to fire then-head coach Art Shell. Never mind the fact that Shell was actually let go by the team. Until it's officially announced by the team, apparently it's untrue in Al Davis' world.
