Rex Ryan...you can't say he's boring.
The New York Jets head coach took the podium in Indianapolis, site of the 2011 NFL Combine, on Wednesday as his team prepares for the 2011 NFL draft.
Ryan opened his media session talking about his recent acting work on CSI and that he outperformed GM Mike Tannenbaum on set. And before he was even asked a question, he was already guaranteeing a Super Bowl.
"I guarantee we'll win it this year," Ryan said today at the NFL scouting combine. "I believe we'll be the team that wins it, period. I feel it."
Last year it was Tim Tebow who had the largest media contingent at the Combine, but Ryan is challenging him this year. He said the Jets have an excellent scouting department and a GM who understands the route to success so they "have no excuses" and will "find a way to get it done."
