With the 45th pick in the 2011 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos selected S Rahim Moore out of UCLA. All four members of the Broncos secondary were 32 years or older so they have to get younger and they do with Moore.
Moore is 6'0", 202 pounds and runs in the 4.4 seconds range on the 40-yard dash. Moore is a solid safety who was a team captain last season, was a Thorpe Award finalist and a first-team All-American by The Sporting News.
The Broncos originally held the 36th overall pick but traded it to the 49ers (who were going up to get QB Colin Kaepernick).
