Cornerback Janoris Jenkins has changed his mind about entering the NFL Draft and will return to the University of Florida for his senior season.

"I spent some time with my family and coach [Will] Muschamp and came to the conclusion it was in my best interest to return to school," Jenkins said in a statement. "Coach Muschamp was very supportive throughout the whole process, regardless of my decision, but he wanted to make sure I had all of the facts. I'm looking forward to working towards my degree, completing my rehab and getting back on the field with my teammates."

This was a smart move by Jenkins. He is ready for the NFL as a player, but a torn labrum would have kept him out of the critical offseason process. Because Jenkins wouldn't be able to show his agility and speed at the combine, it's likely he would have been passed by cornerbacks Aaron Williams and Jimmy Smith in the draft.
