Mike Vrabel Arrested For Theft At Indiana Casino

New, comment

Kansas City Chiefs LB Mike Vrabel has been a significant player in the latest round of labor talks between the owners and players but the latest news surrounding Vrabel has nothing to do with a collective bargaining agreement.

According to a report from Pro Football Talk, Vrabel was arrested at an Indiana casino on charges of theft, a class D felony in Indiana.

The charge, under Indiana law, is a Class D felony.  LaPine had no information regarding the thing that was allegedly stolen. In Indiana, theft of anything, regardless of value, is a Class D felony.  It carries a sentence of six months to three years in prison.

We're short on details but the incident reportedly occurred early this morning as Vrabel was booked at 5:28 a.m. and released after 10:00 a.m. Vrabel is a member of the NFLPA's executive committee so the timing of this all -- in the middle of the lockout -- could probably be better.
