Latest College Baseball Scores: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State Eliminated From NCAA Tournament

The second day of the NCAA Baseball Tournament brings with it the first set of eliminated teams. And the Sooner State's two entrants will not be taking trips to Omaha for the College World Series.

Oklahoma, playing as the second seed in TCU's Fort Worth Regional, got blanked by fourth-seeded Oral Roberts 7-0 on Saturday. That loss, coupled with a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Dallas Baptist in their opening game, sends the Sooners packing, one of just four second-seeded teams to already be eliminated in the 2011 NCAA Baseball Tournament.

One of the other two is Oklahoma State. The Cowboys fell to Belmont Saturday after dropping their opener against Troy, and have been eliminated from Vanderbilt's Nashville Regional.

The other two second seeds to be eliminated: Southern Mississippi, out after a loss to Georgia Tech in the Atlanta Regional, and FIU, beaten by Maine in the Chapel Hill Regional.
