2011 NHL Mock Draft: SB Nation's Hockey Blogs Set To Simulate First Round

It's that time of year again, and beginning today, SB Nation kicks off our 2011 NHL Mock Draft, with help from our fantastic network of 30 team blogs. Each blog will make a selection on behalf of their teams, and two picks will be announced each day as we work through the first round of the draft.

Things will wrap up for us on June 23, the day before the actual 2011 NHL Draft in St. Paul, Minn. Our schedule will be dictated by the NHL's drafting order. It's not yet complete thanks to the ongoing Stanley Cup Finals, but that's just a minor hold-up with regards to the final two picks.

Here's how things look at present.

1. Edmonton Oilers, 2. Colorado Avalanche, 3. Florida Panthers, 4. New Jersey Devils, 5. New York Islanders, 6., Ottawa Senators, 7. Winnipeg/Atlanta Thrashers, 8. Columbus Blue Jackets, 9. Boston Bruins (via Toronto), 10. Minnesota Wild

11. Colorado Avalanche (via St. Louis), 12. Carolina Hurricanes, 13. Calgary Flames, 14. Dallas Stars, 15. New York Rangers, 16. Buffalo Sabres, 17. Montreal Canadiens, 18. Chicago Blackhawks, 19. Edmonton Oilers (via Los Angeles)

20. Phoenix Coyotes, 21. Ottawa Senators (via Nashville), 22. Anaheim Ducks, 23. Pittsburgh Penguins, 24. Detroit Red Wings, 25. Toronto Maple Leafs (via Philadelphia), 26. Washington Capitals, 27. Tampa Bay Lightning, 28. San Jose Sharks, 29/30. Toronto Maple Leafs (via Boston) and Vancouver Canucks.
