2012 NCAA Bracket, Kansas Vs. Detroit Final Score: Jayhawks Coast To 65-50 Victory

This was just not a great game of basketball. The first half produced some stellar dunks, but the second half was a little more tame. Despite the heroics of Doug Anderson, the Detroit Titans looked pretty poor against the Kansas Jayhawks, and the No. 1 seed never really had to kick it into high gear as they cruised to a 65-50 win.

Thomas Robinson did his normal Thomas Robinson thing, scoring 16 points on 7-13 shooting and grabbing 13 rebounds. Tyshawn Taylor didn't do much, but wasn't poor either as he scored 10 points on 5-8 shooting. Anderson was Detroit's leading scorer and center Eli Holman racked up a double-double, but the Titans' offense was poor all-around. They shot just 32 percent from the floor and were 3-17 from three-point range.

Kansas moves on to face Purdue, who pulled off a minor upset over Saint Mary's earlier in the day.
