North Carolina and Creighton appear to be a little amped up to face each other, and the tone was set early. Just minutes into the game, John Henson got into it with Grant Gibbs, resulting in a technical foul and a lot of boos from the crowd. You'll see why.
Henson got tech'd for this, which I guess is the spirit of the rule. At the same time, Gibbs got kinda punked, too.
But apparently, it was all part of the plan. Here's Gibbs after the tech:
I've got no rooting interest in the game, but that wink makes Gibbs your villain to keep an eye on today.
