Once again, the Kansas Jayhawks head into the Big 12 Tournament as the No. 1 seed. It's the eighth straight year in which they've won the regular-season crown and the 12th time in 16 years that they've finished atop the standings.
They will open play Thursday against the winner of No. 8 Oklahoma-No. 9 Texas A&M, who play the tournament's first game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET. That first day of action will also feature No. 7 Oklahoma State taking on No. 10 Texas Tech., the winner of whom will play No. 2 seed Missouri. (Full bracket here)
The Jayhawks will likely earn a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament if they can win the Big 12. They've already compiled a 26-5 overall record and are currently riding an eight-game winning streak.
