The New England Patriots beat the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game which gets them a spot in Super Bowl XLVI against the New York Giants. But the Patriots didn't win the game without a big scare -- Rob Gronkowski was injured during the game.
Gronkowski came down awkwardly on his ankle (video here) and looked like he had a serious injury. He went to the locker room to get his ankle re-taped and missed just three minutes of action before returning.
After the game, he avoided questions about his injured ankle from reporters but did say it was "good." ESPN Boston reports Gronkowski was spotted after the game with a walking boot, but that could just be precautionary.
You can bet the Patriots won't be saying much about Gronkowski's injured ankle. The good news, though, is that he'll have two weeks to recover from the injury before the Super Bowl on February 5.
