Edit: Here is the live-stream information for the 2013 Super Bowl.

For the first time, the Super Bowl will be streamed live on NFL.com and NBCSports.com for free.

The live broadcasts on NFL.com and NBCSports.com will come from NBC's television coverage of Super Bowl XLVI. To complement the broadcast coverage, additional features to enrich the viewing experience will be available. Those features will include additional camera angles, in-game highlights, live statistics and other elements to enhance the interactive experience.

"Whether it's just for a quarter if somebody has to run out to the store to get something they forgot, now they can stay connected to the game," NFL's senior vice president of media strategy and development told The Associated Press. "With such a big television audience, it will be interesting to see the expanded reach."

Fans who want to check out the always popular Super Bowl commercials can do at SuperBowl.com. The advertisements will be added at the end of each quarter.
