"Time to go encourage some kids."
In the latest installment of "In The Zone," Dhani Jones spends a day with Vincent Rey, former teammate and current linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals. This particular visit happens to be on Rey's off-day, time he uses to give back to the community by encouraging kids at the Lighthouse Community School, which "specializes in highly individualized, flexible, and intensive strategies to meet the educational needs of youth in the child welfare system."
"Tuesdays are the off days in the NFL. And I decided to come here just to encourage them anyway I can. As an NFL football player, you have a lot of people that look up to you. And if there's anything I can say or do that will encourage anyone, then I'll gladly do it."
