It turns out Buckeyes senior defensive end and co-captain John Simon won't get to follow-up immediately on his four-sack performance in a 21-14 (OT) win over Wisconsin last week.
Simon has a synovial bursa sac injury, something that's been hidden for much of the Buckeyes' huge rivalry week, leading into its game against Michigan.
It was reported earlier Simon was a game-time decision Saturday, and he did not warm up with the Buckeyes as they prepared to take on their arch rivals:

Simon has 17 career sacks and 42 tackles for loss, and was a third-team All American selection in 2011.
