Lorenzo Alexander gets 'In The Zone' with Dhani Jones

The Washington Redskins' "One Man Gang" shares his secrets.

He calls himself a "throwback player," a nod to the days when it was common for football players to do a little bit of everything. That's all changed in the era of specialization. Football players are only supposed to play one position. Redskins defensive lineman Lorenzo Alexander can't limit himself to just one spot in the lineup.

He started on the offensive line. Since then, Alexander has played everywhere from special teams to fullback to defensive end and places in between. Dhani Jones sat down with Alexander to learn more about what it takes to pull off such a feat in today's NFL.
