It's been a back-and-forth battle for the Florida Gators' starting quarterback job all offseason between Jeff Driskel and Jacoby Brissett. With the first game just a little over a week away, head coach Will Muschamp might finally be nearing a decision.
"At this time, we'll see what happens," Muschamp said. "I'm not ready to comment on that. I think we have a press conference Monday of game week. We'll see Monday. I don't know. I'll make a decision. I'm sitting on some things right now. We still have some time now."
But this could be a week-to-week decision. Muschamp will likely continue to evaluate his two quarterbacks in the team's first game on Sept. 1 against Bowling Green.
Driskel attempted 34 passes for the Gators last season and Brissett attempted 39.
