Super Bowl 2013: Meet Michael Zagaris, 49ers photographer

Keep an eye out for the man in the black hat during the Super Bowl. That's 49ers photographer Michael Zagaris, and he may be the coolest person at the Super Bowl.

NEW ORLEANS -- If you look closely on the telecast of the Super Bowl see a man roaming the sidelines and sidelines of the Super Bowl wearing a black hat and possibly a pair of cleats, it's one of the coolest cats on the planet.

That's because San Francisco 49ers photographer Michael Zagaris is a legend.

He's been a fixture with the team for over 30 years. Not only has he been the photographer for the 49ers and Oakland A's, he's also officially photographed the Rolling Stones, Rick James, Eric Clapton and countless others.

I spend a day with him on the job, around the city and in a bar, to get legendary stories of what it's like to navigate two very different and cool worlds. And what that adrenaline is like when you are given the best access in the planet.

The 49ers and Ravens square off a little after 6 p.m. on CBS as they battle for the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl XLVII. Stay tuned to our Super Bowl hub for more coverage throughout the day.
