2013 NASCAR at Pocono Raceway, less rain in the weather forecast

Rain forced NASCAR to cancel all of the on track activities Friday, but the weather forecast is better for today and Sunday.

Forecast is drier for the rest of the weekend after rain that was associated with tropical storm Andrea moved through on Friday and washed out all on track NASCAR activities. The weather forecast for today and Sunday looks to be a whole lot drier.

Weak area of high pressure moves in for today and Sunday keeping the weather mostly dry. There is just the slightest chance this afternoon and Sunday afternoon for the development of an isolated shower or storm. While possible I don't think rain is a big issue the rest of the weekend at Pocono Raceway. Will keep an eye on it and update you if rain becomes a threat.
