Fantasy football rankings, Week 11: Wide receivers for standard, PPR leagues

Rookie receivers have been lighting up the fantasy football scoreboards this season. Check out our Week 11 wide receiver rankings for the scoop on that, along with injury and bye week help.

After ten weeks of the season, we're continuing to see amazing production from rookie receivers. We have Kelvin Benjamin among the top ten fantasy wideouts. Sammy Watkins and Mike Evans rank in the top twenty fantasy receivers. Looking further, Brandin Cooks, Allen Hurns and Jordan Matthews are top thirty; John Brown, Martavis Bryant and Allen Robinson are top forty and Odell Beckham Jr. makes the top fifty. That's ten rookies among the top fifty fantasy receivers. With injuries to star receivers, it seems as though waiting this year to draft your receivers and going young was the smart move. We have a lot of football left to play but this is a trend that bears watching. It was a great NFL draft for receivers but there are some college receivers that could make the same impact in 2015.

We have four teams on their bye in Week 11: Dallas, Baltimore, Jacksonville and the New York Jets. The receivers we'll be without are: Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams, Steve SmithTorrey SmithCecil Shorts, Allen Hurns, Eric Decker and Percy Harvin. Missing Bryant and Williams during the stretch run really hurts. The situation in Baltimore has become muddled with Steve and Torrey fighting for targets, after Steve was the focal point of the passing game to start the season. The Jaguars have lost Allen Robinson for the season but hopefully that will open things up for Shorts. The Jets passing game has been abysmal and I don't have much optimism for their chances after the bye.

Allen Hurns suffered a concussion on Sunday but will have two weeks to recover before the Jaguars' next game. As mentioned above, Allen Robinson is done for the season with a foot fracture but will definitely be ready for the offseason program. Brandon Marshall's ankle injury looked bad but he said he'd be ready to play against the Vikings. Make sure to keep an eye on his practice participation. As we saw earlier in the season, Marshall can play at less than a hundred percent and still produce.

John Brown has produced this season but it's been in spurts. He registered his third double-digit fantasy score of 2014 but has failed to reach five points in five other games. He'll be playing with a new quarterback and has competition for targets from Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd. He's a good grab in deep leagues and if something happens to Fitz or Floyd. In certain matchups though, he'll leave you frustrated. Robert Woods is another boom-or-bust pickup. I believe he's coming on to end the season and could surprise. He's had to deal with an injury and a new quarterback so far. With those issues behind him, look for Woods to receive more targets and points. He's registered double-digit points in two out of his last four games.
