Chris Algieri was "let out of the cage" by his corner ahead of round 11 against Manny Pacquiao. Oddly enough, Algieri fought the round exactly as he had the rest of the fight: moving, jabbing a little and getting punched in the head.
Pacquiao is able to get inside and get off with his offense far better than a much shorter fighter should be able to against a tall fighter who usually uses his jab very well.
Pacquiao is up 204 to 95 on the total punches landed according to the live punch stats, and it's a lead that seems only likely to climb.
With Algieri managing to not get knocked down that round it has to be considered a minor victory.
It's a 10-9 round for Pacquiao, making the fight 109-94 Pacquiao.
