Syracuse has a bad football team. In order to make the team better, Syracuse coach Scott Shafer is hopefully out recruiting good players. But it turns out, Syracuse coaches aren't even responding to players who want to play for them.
Affton (St. Louis, Mo.) High School wide receiver/tight end West Lindor has decommitted from Syracuse, he told Syracuse.com in a series of messages on Monday night.
"I messaged them multiple times and they ignored me," Lindor said. "Wish I could've balled out with Syracuse, but I need to do what's best for me."
This is apparently not a new occurrence:
