Tigers coach Dabo Swinney announced Tuesday that starters Corey Crawford and David Beasley, along with potential starters Shaq Anthony and Garry Peters, will miss the opener against Georgia. This is quite the upset; Mark Richt's many early-season suspensions have been so reliable as of late that Steve Spurrier's cited them as a reason to play the Dawgs in September (though he might now push for playing both rivals early). Georgia's only managed a dismissal of safety Josh Harvey-Clemons (who was also suspended for last year's opener vs. Clemson) so far.
