2014 Belmont Stakes odds: Morning line released

California Chrome is the big-time favorite.

California Chrome is the prohibitive morning line favorite at 3-5 odds in Saturday's 146th Belmont Stakes.

The morning line odds were released at Wednesday's post draw, and California Chrome is the heavy choice over the rest of the field as he attempts to win horse racing's Triple Crown for the first time since Affirmed in 1978.

Wicked Strong is the second choice at 6-1. He last raced in the Kentucky Derby, finishing fourth coming out of the outside. He'll race out of the No. 9 gate at Belmont on Saturday.

The third choice is Tonalist at 8-1 odds. Tonalist is a Triple Crown newcomer, and his last race was the Grade 2 Peter Pan Stakes at Belmont, which he won on May 10.

Ride On Curlin, the fourth choice at 12-1 odds, was the runner-up to California Chrome in the Preakness Stakes. Commanding Curve was the Kentucky Derby runner-up and is at 15-1 odds for the Belmont.
