The Six Flags theme parks of St. Louis and Chicago had a bet on who would win the NLDS matchup between their teams, the Cardinals and the Cubs. The theme park whose team lost the series had to rename one of their rides after the winner.
So, with the Cubs being the ones to advance to the NLCS, Six Flags St. Louis had to pay up to Chicago's Six Flags Great America.
