The 2015 season came to a close for the Boston Red Sox on Sunday afternoon, and with it, Don Orsillo's 15-year run as Red Sox announcer for NESN came to a close as well. He was given a classy send-off by Red Sox players and fans during Boston's regular season finale.
After the game, the entire Red Sox team came out to send off Orsillo in fashion:

Some Red Sox fans came together to fly a banner over Progressive Field before the game, reading "Red Sox Nation [heart] Don Orsillo."

Orsillo, who is moving on to San Diego to call Padres games, was clearly touched by the outpouring of respect from Red Sox nation as he said his final farewell:
