Michael Bennett holds JFK's assassination against Matthew Stafford

The NFL is no stranger to player beef. Perhaps something off-color is said on the field, maybe they take jabs at each other over social media. Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett has a very unique reason for disliking Matthew Stafford -- the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963.

Bennett spoke to Pro Football Talk and made it VERY clear why he doesn't like the Lions' quarterback.

[H]e's from Dallas and Dallas, they killed the President," Bennett said. "It's where JFK, one of the greatest Presidents, died at so I just have a little hatred towards him."

That does seem a little unfair. Stafford was born 25 years after Kennedy was assassinated. Bennett doesn't care though, he's holding all of Dallas accountable.

"I hold that against him," Bennett said.

There's no word at this time if Bennett also dislikes Ford Field because Abraham Lincoln was killed at Ford's Theater.
