Yankees fan talks trash to Alex Rodriguez from beyond the grave

New, comment

There are hot takes. There are hotter takes. And then there are crematory takes.

Yankees fan Helen Fowler passed away last week. She was 85. She lived in Cranford, New Jersey for 53 years, had two children and five grandchildren, and loved her Yankees.

Almost all of her Yankees. From her obituary in the Star-Ledger:

Mrs. Fowler was a former member of the Cranford First Aid Squad and a lifelong Yankees fan, with the exception of Alex Rodriguez.

I mean, I might not agree with the content, but I respect the absolute heck out of the method of delivery. Well played, Mrs. Fowler. Rest in peace, far away from A-Rod.
