One in five women and one in 16 men will be sexually assaulted in college. Those aren't exaggerated statistics. Those are very sobering facts.
"It's On Us" is a campaign to fundamentally shift the way we think and act about sexual assault on college campuses. What does this have to do with sports? Nothing directly. But it's a message that we, as a company, strongly believe in and we are proud to be a partner of the campaign for the second year in a row.
This week is the campaign's "Week of Action," seven days dedicated to raising awareness of sexual assault and to encourage all of us to step up and take responsibility for ourselves and each other.
It's On Us to realize that we have a role to play in stopping sexual assault. It's On Us to hold our friends accountable. It's On Us to not look the other way. It's On Us to do something, say something.
