Chris Matthews is having a Super Bowl MVP caliber night

No, seriously.

Chris Matthews has been perhaps the most valuable player of Super Bowl 49. He has three catches in his career, and they have ALL come during Sunday's game. He opened the second half with a big grab.

But that was only ALMOST as good as his touchdown just before halftime.

Matthews set up the Seahawks' first score with a beautiful catch.

Leading to a Marshawn Lynch TD plunge.

In sum, Matthews has made the biggest play on all three of the Seahawks' scoring drives. Maybe you haven't heard of him until now, but he is making the biggest statement of the game.
