It's the big one. Tonight's UFC 189: McGregor vs. Mendes fight card features not one but two title fights and has already set records at the ticket gate, taking an expected $7 million haul. With featherweight champ Jose Aldo injured, Irish sensation Conor McGregor and Chad Mendes fight for the division's interim title while welterweight champ Robbie Lawler defends his belt against Canadian contender Rory MacDonald.
Mendes is a late substitute for divisional kingpin Aldo, who had been set to face McGregor up until a rib injury forced him out of the bout.

McGregor vs. Mendes headlines the PPV card which begins promptly at 10 p.m. ET. That card also features Lawler vs. MacDonald, a catchweight (149.5 pounds) bout between Dennis Bermudez and Jeremy Stephens, welterweights Gunnar Nelson vs. Brandon Thatch and opens with bantamweights Brad Pickett vs. Thomas Almeida.
As an appetizer, there's a four-fight preliminary card on Fox Sports 1 beginning at 8 p.m. and two undercard fights will be streamed live on the UFC's proprietary Fight Pass service.
