During the bottom of the fifth inning against the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night, Colorado Rockies pitcher Eddie Butler was on second base. With the help of a DJ LeMahieu single, things were looking good for Butler, who looked set to reach home and grab the lead for the Rockies. Unfortunately things didn't turn out so well.
Actually, that's putting it lightly. Butler stumbled not once but twice. He slipped as he reached third and completely lost his footing between third and home. A fail of this caliber had to be commemorated. Luckily enough, the crew at Coors Field did just that in the form of a chalk outline.
