Mariners turn crazy 3-6-2 triple play on the Blue Jays

Not sure anyone has ever seen a triple play like this one.

The first out is clear. Ryan Goins grounded out to first.

The second and third out, not so much. Because Ezequiel Carrera was on third base before Kevin Pillar, he has a right to the base. So when the catcher tagged Pillar, he was out.

But for some reason, Carrera briefly stepped off the bag then was tagged out. So there's out number three.

Such a weird play.
