We’re quite excited to announce that we have partnered with our pals at SB Nation for maximum college football podcasting goodness. It’s a natural fit that made a ton of sense given both our preexisting relationship with the site, as well as how much we’ve always loved SB Nation’s smart, weird, and Internet-y coverage of the sport.
As background, the show was created independently in 2008 when we (Ty Hildenbrandt and Dan Rubenstein) were both at Sports Illustrated working as contributors to SI.com. Over the years, the show has grown considerably, syndicating on ESPN's Grantland and SiriusXM, and has now become the most listened to independent college sports podcast.
During the season, we will continue our usual schedule of midweek preview shows and Sunday recap shows (and bonus shows thrown in), with the added bonus of utilizing SB Nation talent to expertly enhance the show when applicable. Beyond that, we have big plans to explore areas of the college football world that we have yet to do on our own.
We’re also thrilled to move SolidVerbal.com to Chorus, Vox Media’s proprietary platform to improve the overall experience of the show’s universe, particularly our ability to interact with you (yes, you!), preferably in more than 140 characters at a time.
Keep your eyes here for more, and in the meantime, check out our recently released preview series below.
Stay solid!
