Fantasy football rankings, Week 6: Wide receivers for standard leagues

The SB Nation Fantasy team reveals which receivers are among the top 50 in standard leagues for Week 6.

Week 5 brought us the much needed breakouts for preseason sleepers Sammie Coates and Chris Hogan. Their situations are very similar as promising outside weapons on powerful offenses manned by more than capable quarterbacks. Both are also on teams loaded with talent, making it difficult to predict weekly usage. Other young receivers like Cameron Meredith and Tyrell Williams are also now worth weekly consideration, especially if you need replacements for Mike Evans or Stefon Diggs, who are on bye.

Odell Beckham Jr. and DeAndre Hopkins each went for five receptions for 56 yards receiving and one touchdown in Week 5, which is kind of eerie considering how relatively slow both have started this season. Beckham is the best bet going forward, but Hopkins is still an every week starter in most leagues despite his struggles.

In Week 6, only Julio Jones and A.J. Green have matchups that give you pause. Jones and the Falcons have been very good this year, but the Seahawks are still the Seahawks. The Bengals, meanwhile, face the Patriots, who specialize in nullifying the opponent's best weapon. You will likely be starting both, but expectations should be tempered.
