The Broncos should have Trevor Siemian this week against a Chargers defense that makes every quarterback look like a fantasy stud.

Editor’s update: Adam Schefter is reporting Siemian will start.

The Denver Broncos are listing Trevor Siemian as questionable to play in Week 6. While it may be a game-time decision, Siemian is expected to start, according to NFL Network reporter Mark Ortega.

Siemian has been a limited practice participant this week after missing Week 5 with a left shoulder injury. He has been taking the reps with the first-team offense on a short week, so the expectation has been Siemian starts Thursday night vs. the San Diego Chargers.

If, however, Siemian misses the game, Paxton Lynch would start for the second straight game.

Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Siemian as the 23rd-best quarterback for Week 6. He is facing a Chargers defense allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. As tempting as it is to play Siemian, he may be a little rusty coming off an injury on a short week, not to mention Denver can beat the Chargers with their ground game and make Siemian a game manager.

Keep Siemian on the bench this week.
