The Denver Broncos appear to be going away from C.J. Anderson, which could make Devontae Booker an intriguing fantasy player.
Anderson has seen his touches go from 24 in Week 1 down to a season-low 14 in Week 5. A big reason why is the rise of Booker, who has seen his touches go up in three straight games.
That includes six rushes for 23 yards and four catches for 36 yards last week. The rookie appears to be taking a bigger role in the offense as the season progresses, and it may just be a matter of time before he starts.
Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Booker as the 45th-best running back in Week 6. He is facing a Chargers defense allowing the second-most fantasy points to running backs this season.
This makes Booker a viable fantasy play this week, but he still has not done enough to warrant starting him, even against a bad Chargers defense.
