Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 6: Tyrell Williams a bad play vs. Broncos

An onslaught of injuries has led to San Diego relying heavily on Tyrell Williams this year. Will that continue vs. Denver’s vaunted secondary?

Amid a brutal 1-4 stretch to open the season, Tyrell Williams has been one of the few bright spots for the San Diego Chargers.

In five games, Williams has hauled in 21 passes for 358 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a featured weapon in the passing game, including five grabs for 117 yards and a score in Week 5.

However, Williams will face his stiffest challenge of the season when he goes up against the Denver Broncos’ secondary. He has yet to see a secondary nearly as talented as what Denver has in All-Pro cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Chris Harris.

Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Williams as the 43rd-best receiver in Week 6. He faces a Broncos defense allowing the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season. As good as he has been, playing him this week is far too risky.

Keep Williams on the bench for this Thursday Night Football matchup.
