The Oklahoma City Thunder hosted the Memphis Grizzlies in Tulsa on Thursday for a preseason game. During warmups, OKC wore shirts embroidered with TC, the initials of Terence Crutcher, a man shot and killed by Tulsa police in September.
Several members of the Thunder have been very public in showing their support for Crutcher, including Russell Westbrook.
In addition to his Instagram post, Westbrook discussed police shootings during media day.
"Now, it's getting to a point that there's something that needs to be changed in that aspect,” Westbrook said, via the Associated Press. “I'm going to use my voice as much as possible to relay that aspect."
Other Oklahoma City players also commented on the shooting when it happened.
