The New York Giants are listing Rashad Jennings as questionable to face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. Jennings is still working through with a thumb injury that caused him to miss the past three games.
New York is actually 2-0 when Jennings starts this year, but has gone 0-3 in the games he has sat out. Jennings looks like a game-time decision this week. In two games this season, Jennings has carried the ball 31 times for 102 yards and no scores. He also has three catches for 16 yards.
With Shane Vereen on I.R., the Giants have been using a committee approach with Orleans Darkwa, Bobby Rainey, and rookie Paul Perkins in the backfield. None of them has done enough to take Jennings’ starting job when he is able to return.
Fantasy Impact: This is already a bad matchup for Jennings even if he is active. Baltimore is allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season.
Keep Jennings on the bench this week.
