Eddie Lacy injury update: Packers RB questionable vs. Cowboys [Update]

It looks like Green Bay will have Eddie Lacy when Dallas comes to town.

Editor’s update: Eddie Lacy is expected to be active. He will be the only running back, with Randall Cobb serving as the backup, per Ian Rapoport.

The Green Bay Packers are listing Eddie Lacy as questionable to face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. Lacy is dealing with an ankle injury suffered in Week 5, though it did not keep him from practicing this week.

However, Lacy only got three limited practices in, so it looks like he will be a game-time decision Sunday. Backup running back James Starks is dealing with a knee injury and did not practice this week. Starks is questionable for Sunday as well.

This is leaving a lot of uncertainty as to what Green Bay’s backfield will look like vs. Dallas, but it looks like Lacy will at least be part of it.

Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Lacy as the 19th-best running back for Week 6. He is going against a Cowboys defense allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season.

Despite the bad matchup and injury, keep Lacy in your starting lineup as long as he is active Sunday. He has too much upside in this offense to sit if he is playing.
