Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 6: Time for a big game from Tyrod Taylor?

The Bills’ quarterback has a chance for a productive day against the 49ers on Sunday. We explore the fantasy implications.

The Buffalo Bills have won three straight games and a lot of their success has had to do with the consistent play of their quarterback, Tyrod Taylor. Now he has not had amazing fantasy numbers so far in 2016 (three games with under 125 passing yards), but Taylor has been making plays for the Bills when they have needed them the most.

He has scored a touchdown with either his arm or his legs in nine of his last 11 regular season games dating back to 2015. Whenever Taylor is on the field and healthy, there is always a legitimate chance that he will find the end zone at least once during a game.

Fantasy Impact: This weekend, Buffalo and its quarterback will be matching up against a San Francisco 49ers defense that has given up at least two passing touchdowns in each of their last four games.

Yahoo! projects Taylor to finish Sunday with 204 passing yards, one touchdown, one interception, and 33 rushing yards. His upside for this game is pretty high and it should be enough to convince a few fantasy owners that Taylor is worthy of a starting spot in their lineups this weekend.
