Kelvin Benjamin injury update: Panthers WR questionable vs. Saints [Update]

Kelvin Benjamin popped up on the injury report this week, but it does not look like it will sideline him in Week 6.

Editor’s update: Benjamin is expected to play.

The Carolina Panthers are listing Kelvin Benjamin as questionable to face the New Orleans Saints. Benjamin is dealing with discomfort in his surgically repaired knee, according to Panthers.com reporter Bryan Strickland.

This issue just popped up in practice this week, and it led to Benjamin being limited on Thursday and Friday. This is something to monitor right up until the gameday inactives are announced, though it does not sound like it will keep him sidelined.

Benjamin is in the midst of a big rebound season after missing all of 2015 due to a torn ACL. In five games this year, Benjamin has caught 21 passes for 308 yards and four touchdowns.

Fantasy Impact: Benjamin could be in for a big game against a Saints defense allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Yahoo! ranks Benjamin as the sixth-best receiver in Week 6.

As long as he is active, keep Benjamin in your starting lineup on Sunday.
