LeSean McCoy appeared to suffer a knee injury when the Buffalo Bills were taking on the San Francisco 49ers Sunday afternoon.
McCoy had caught a pass over the middle of the field from Tyrod Taylor, when he was met by 49ers linebacker Nick Bellore. McCoy immediately grabbed his right knee, and took off his helmet.
If McCoy is unable to return, it would be a big hit for the Bills. He’s easily been the best player on the field during the game, having both of the Bills’ touchdowns on the afternoon and 106 yards rushing in just the first half.
McCoy walked off the field and put weight on both of his legs. The Bills training staff underwent tests on the star running back, and before the start of the second half, LeSean McCoy was cleared to return, as announced by the Bills.
