Alshon Jeffery injury update: Bears WR questionable vs. Lions

The Bears could be without their star receiver for an NFC North clash with the Lions.

The Chicago Bears are listing Alshon Jeffery as questionable to play in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions. A hamstring injury has had Jeffery questionable for two-straight weeks now.

He was able to play in Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys, so we should expect him to go Sunday. Jeffery is in a bad spot with Chicago's offense being a disaster thus far.

The injury to Jay Cutler (he is doubtful to play) really hurts Jeffrey's value. For all of Cutler's issues, Brian Hoyer is a big downgrade that hurts everyone in Chicago’s offense.

In three games this season, Jeffrey has caught 14 passes for 271 yards and no scores.

Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! has Jeffrey ranked as the 10th-best wide receiver in Week 4. He is going against a Lions defense allowing the sixth-most touchdowns to receivers this season.

Even with Jeffery’s health and Cutler likely being out, keep the star receiver in your starting lineup this week.
