Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7: Alshon Jeffery a must-start vs. depleted Packers

Taking a look at Alshon Jeffery’s fantasy potential in Week 7 when the Bears face the Packers.

Alshon Jeffery could be in for a big game when his Chicago Bears face the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.

The banged-up Packers could be without several critical members of their secondary, including starters Damarious Randall (groin) and Quinten Rollins (groin). This comes after Sam Shields (concussion) was placed on I.R. on Tuesday, meaning Green Bay will likely be without their top three corners against Jeffery and the Bears’ talented group of pass-catchers.

This also comes after Jeffery received a season-high 13 targets in Week 6 while catching a season-high seven balls for 93 yards. He finally appears to be developing some chemistry with Brian Hoyer, who continues to fill in for the injured Jay Cutler.

Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Jeffery as the 12th-best wide receiver for Week 7. He faces a Packers defense allowing the most fantasy points to wide receivers this season.

There is no question you will be starting Jeffery this week.
