Latavius Murray injury update: RB questionable for Raiders, fantasy owners [Update]

The Raiders should have their top running back in the lineup this week.

Editor’s update: Murray is expected to be back from his turf toe injury on Sunday vs. the Jaguars, per Ian Rapoport.

The Oakland Raiders are listing Latavius Murray as questionable to play vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7. Murray is expected to return from his toe injury and play Sunday, according to ESPN report Adam Caplan.

The dreaded turf toe has kept Murray sidelined for the past two games. In his first four games, Murray rushed for 172 yards and three scores on 40 carries. He also chipped in 10 catches for 63 yards.

Unfortunately for Murray, Oakland got decent production out of DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard over the past two games, so Murray may not get a full workload in his first game back.

Murray has been the guy getting the goal-line carries when healthy, so that alone makes him a viable play this week.

Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Murray as the 42nd-best running back in Week 7. He faces a Jaguars defense allowing the eighth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season.

This is a tough call, but Murray is still worth starting if he is active.
