Washington’s secondary took a hit Sunday afternoon when Josh Norman injured himself defending a pass against the Detroit Lions.
Norman was one-on-one with Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones when the two went up for a ball, and Norman appeared to come down on his shoulder, between Jones’ helmet and the turf. The team would say that Norman was being evaluated for a possible concussion
The team would later announce that Norman in fact suffered a concussion, and was out for the rest of the game:
#Redskins CB Josh Norman has been diagnosed with a concussion, OUT for the remainder of #WASvsDET.

Jones came down with the 52-yard catch despite defensive pass interference against Norman.
Washington’s star cornerback walked off the field with the training staff.
A little later in the game Washington lost its other starting cornerback, Bashaud Breeland, with an ankle injury. He’s questionable to return.
